2006

It's 2006 and today temperatures soared from 45 to 47 degrees Celcius in Sydney, Australia. The city is surrounded by fires and it's the beginning of the fire season. Above are photographs taken at my parents house before and after a fire. You can see the tree on the left is the same one if looking closely. Today's fires haven't reached them as yet but we have weeks left to hope their house is once again safe. Happy New Year!

How awful!

What is that "thank you!" in the one picture?

I wish you and your family safety in the new year. Chanting.....

As devestating as fire is, these are still beautiful. I hope you are all safe as well.
