Oma's on the Mantle
These were Oma's. I imagine she prayed for the people close to her whilst holding their card. The left one is my Father's name; painted with oil paints. The right one is my Oma's Sister's name; made with silks and paper collage.

Oooh, I love prayer cards. Religious icons, in general. Very pretty.
The one on the right is especially old and I love the silk materials.
